Frederick Anderson Resort 2025

Frederick Anderson inaugurated a new boutique and atelier in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan this spring. The space operates as both a store and Anderson’s working space, and represents an effort by the designer to strengthen his already tight bond with his customers, many of which he counts with as friends. This new proximity shaped Anderson’s resort collection. He explained: “We are thinking six months in advance, so by the time this ships in December we are going to be just past the November election and in need of a sense of balance and simplicity while in such a crazy turmoil.” His thinking, he said, was to create something simple and light, that evokes the idea of looseness.
