Simon Miller Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear

Chelsea Hansford loves to entertain at home. She’s got the perfect pad for it too: a midcentury bungalow in the middle of Hollywood, complete with vintage furniture and an oblong-shaped pool. There’s room to spread out, which has made it the perfect hangout spot during the last couple of months as quarantine restrictions have lifted somewhat in California. Casa Simon Miller is the name she gave her resort collection and it’s also the theme surrounding her new spring lineup. Her designs typically reference Hollywood in the 1960s and 1970s; this season, she honed in on the idea of a classic cocktail party. Think Sharon Tate and Jay Sebring sitting poolside sipping on tiki cocktails surrounded by kitschy island decor. Except in Hansford’s iteration, the stars of the house party are musician Kilo Kish and film director Lorraine Nicholson.
